As commenters have noted, this blog has petered off over the last several months. It hasn't been the result of any particular decision on my part, I've always considered this an 'active' blog with the writings dictated purely by whether or not I'm able to write about anything interesting. Unfortunately, for reason and that, I've found myself with increasingly less time to write these days. In part this is due to competing academic demands, but now is mostly due to the abysmally slow speeds of satellite internet, which really prevents any form of intensive research (Google Earth is essentially unusable). Assuming several logistical questions work out in the real world September should be especially active for The Arkenstone, with a decreased, but steady output for the rest of 2012.
All the best.
